Revolution Banking | The digitization of banking begins here
Revolution Banking, Spain’s premier banking sector event, marks its milestone tenth edition on May 14th in Madrid. Organized by IKN Spain, this congress has become synonymous with excellence for professionals in the financial sector, offering an exclusive platform to explore the latest trends, technologies, and challenges shaping the digital transformation journey in banking.
The Cívitas Metropolitano stadium will open its doors at 08:15 to welcome all attendees. Among them will be representatives from the six most important banks in the country: Santander, BBVA, CaixaBank, Bankinter, Sabadell, and Unicaja. Additionally, senior officials from public law entities such as the Bank of Spain will attend, as well as technology companies including AuraQuantic, which renews its support as a Gold sponsor this year, and IBM.
For banking sector professionals interested in taking part in this congress, AuraQuantic is offering a limited number of free invitations. These passes grant access to the different panels of experts, interviews, round tables and exhibitions scheduled on the event’s agenda.
The tenth installment of Revolution Banking delves into the digital reality of Spanish banking, with three major themes, artificial intelligence, the customer-centric model and cybersecurity. Each theme will be analyzed in depth in separate spaces designated as “green room,” “purple room” and “yellow room” respectively. In addition, an exclusive space will be reserved to discuss the challenges of corporate banking, addressing topics such as sustainability and personalization.
Within the varied program of the congress, the session “Industry view: Technologies to overcome the challenges of banking” will take place in the green room at 11:50 am. It will reflect on the main technological innovations in the banking sector, as well as the many opportunities offered by artificial intelligence. Ilian Radoytsov, CCO of AuraQuantic, will share his expertise in the company of other guests, such as Aisha Ramón, Open Banking Product Manager at Experian, Héctor Arias, Retail Global Lead at Red Hat, Marian Aradillas, Head of Advanced Analytics at Ayesa, and Victoria Torre, Head of Digital Offering at Self Bank, who will act as moderator during the session.
In this context, AuraQuantic has published the whitepaper “The Digital Future of Banking: Strategic Challenges and Opportunities”, which reviews the main challenges facing the financial sector in 2024. These include over-reliance on manual processes, the need to optimize the supervision of artificial intelligence systems, strengthening cybersecurity infrastructure, improving agility in responding to customer demands, and adapting to increased regulatory pressure. Faced with these challenges, AuraQuantic proposes different technological solutions with high strategic value to mitigate their impact.
Revolution Banking offers companies in the financial sector, technology companies and other institutions the opportunity to discuss and share experiences about the evolution of traditional banking, the strategies developed to achieve a digital ecosystem and the technology needed to drive this change. Furthermore, various companies, notably AuraQuantic, will host commercial spaces within the venue dedicated to providing information and addressing queries about their technological products. Specifically, the AuraQuantic team will be at stand number 45.
